Welcome to the Monitoring Centre for HIV, Prisons and Drugs in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Monitoring Centre is an interdisciplinary and intersectoral tool for information, research, analysis, proposals and communication related to HIV and Aids within the prison systems of the LAC region. It opens a space for informed reflection on the problems in this area, and provides technical basis for dialogues that promote international standards and national policieson HIV and AIDS in prisons.
